FREEDOM FROM SHAME James, OIC

FREEDOM FROM SHAME
Brother James, OIC

Rom 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

Living apart from shame in your life has to do fully with your commitment to the True Gospel of Christ. To arrive at the place of full confidence in Him a separation, a setting apart of yourself for Him has to first be an understanding within you that the world with it all its shiny illusions of happiness and self esteeming goodness is not God but the world.

1Jn 2:15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

Here in the U.S. the American Dream has become a leaven that’s slithered into the Church Doctrines, corrupting the True Gospel. And sadly many are not up to the challenge to Love others in Truth while forsaking their shameful love of the world.

Joh 15:16-19 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you. These things I command you, that ye love one another. If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.

To be ordained of God is a point of maturity reached wherein Truth has been heard, rightly divided and understood producing Good Fruit for the Kingdom of God wherein all of your loyalty and citizenship must abide. This is being Born Again (See Js1:18; 1Pt1:23)

Mat 13:18-23 Hear ye therefore the parable of the sower. When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side. But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and anon with joy receiveth it; Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended. He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful. But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.

Freedom from shame is therefore reached as you:

2Ti 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
