CONFESSION,TRUTH,FAITH,RIGHTEOUSNESS James, OIC

CONFESSION,TRUTH,FAITH,RIGHTEOUSNESS
Brother James, OIC

Jas 5:16-20 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months. And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit. Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him; Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.

To live in error is to live apart from Truth. To live apart from Truth is never have Faith grow inside of you and therefore never be credited the Righteous of God that is given to you through your Faith in Christ. Truth makes you free, free to confess those faults that still hold your flesh bound yet miraculously you remain free in the spirit through Truth. This freedom is a grace whereby you can impart Truth to others so that they too may be converted from the error of their truth-less ways.

Apart from Christ every sin is sin unto death.

Rom 6:20-23 For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness.
What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death. But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Now in Christ you have been made free from that hold which the old law placed on you through its ordinances now nailed to the Cross.

Col 2:14-15 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.

Yet there still remains sin unto death and that is speaking against the Spirit of Truth.

Mar 3:28-30 Verily I say unto you, All sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, and blasphemies wherewith soever they shall blaspheme: But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation:
Because they said, He hath an unclean spirit.

But if the Seed of Truth is in you, you cannot sin:

1Jn 3:9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

Isn’t this Good News?!
