1Jn 4:16 -18 And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him. Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world. There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.
Fear of any kind will cause you to miss Gods Perfect Will in your life. Fear causes you to choose things that negate and are contrary to Gods Miraculous Promises to you. Fear holds you in bondage, an emotional prison of stagnation and spoil. Fear is the opposite of Faith.

Many people say they believe in God that Jesus is Lord of their lives. They say they are Christians yet still live in fear. Fear is a primary weapon of Satan! He uses fear in your life coupled with guilt and condemnation to keep you from becoming a New Creation wherein old things are passed away. Satan is a liar and a thief,  he comes only to kill, steal and destroy your new life keeping you imprisoned in fear wherein you never make your calling and election secure in Christ. God in  Christ has given us the only weapon powerful enough to defeat Satan and that is the Truth of Gods Word residing in and being acknowledged in your heart  in every circumstance you find yourself in. And this Truth is not found in  the way you want to understand it but it is the Spirit of Understanding you receive by wholeheartedly seeking God to help you Rightly Divide the Word of Truth.

To know your enemy is one aspect of Truth that will help open your eyes to Satan’s subtle tricks, seductions and temptations. You can go to my writing Recognizing The Schemes of Satan for another look at this Powerful Seducing Spirit:


I have  seen God offer many people escape from their fears then in steps Satan who uses many deceptions to block the escape route: Religion, counseling, societal standards, drugs (legal and illegal), self help groups, step programs, etc that offer solutions that appeal to your intellect and emotions but are contrary to Gods Word of Truth.

Religion that uses false solutions yet calls itself Christianity is one of Satan's greatest allies. Gods Word states that Satan appears as an angel of light and his ministers as ministers of righteousness. This righteousness these false teachers exhibit is a self righteousness or the worlds fallen goodness calling itself righteousness. True righteousness can only be attained and found in Faith in Jesus Christ and the only true Faith in Christ reveals itself in absolute trust and reliance on God to perform His Promises.

Most I find that stay in the abusive relationships of these false solutions of Satan and his world because they keep allowing themselves to be seduced into romancing a past that had false illusions of happiness. These goals and dreams never became a reality but were only desires for a future painted by a lie, a lie established by the god of this world Satan and his demons and it all appears good. Others who I have witnessed achieving their goals who get what they want only to discover later this didn't quieten their fears nor fill the emptiness inside thus discovering they really did not want what they got. Happiness to these worldly minded always becoming an elusive butterfly in their lives. Only Truth in Christ can give you freedom from fear and torment that has been infused by competitiveness of whats called here in the USA: the American Dream.  A dream whose payday apart from Truth in Christ produces fear.

All worldliness produces abusive relationships of some type whether in marriage or between parents or step-parents and children, friends, co-workers, careers, companies, government, churches, social clubs etc.

Your freedom can truly come and happiness and peace attained  by you truly becoming a Citizen of The Kingdom of God. Truth makes you a Son or Daughter of the Kingdom birthing you again into a New Creation armored from fear. To enter Gods Kingdom you must be born of the water and the spirit, understanding Truth fuels this process and produces the Fruit of Love, which is Christ in you, the New Creation, freed from fear of this world.

Mat 5:37 But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil.

So many today miss what the intent of the above scripture means. Often under the banner of good intentions they hurt instead of help someone, consequences being they hurt their selves in the long run. A good example of someone needing to let their no be no is one who is an Enabler whose mind is telling them to put their foot down and say no but their hearts for whatever reason wants to keep saying yes How many times has a friend or family member bailed out someone from a financial crisis who was on drugs or just not willing to work and manage their money? An example of those who need to let their yes be yes are those who commit to help someone truly in need but in the end, for whatever reason, they didn’t do what they said. Both of these are examples are of double mindedness, the most unstable condition to be in before God. Until a commitment to self is made to keep your word then a lack of commitment will also exist in the Word of Truth. Simply put God can work with those who are faithful to their cause whether its hot or cold, in darkness or in Light, God can effect a work in those who are faithful in their word.

Imagine if Jesus couldn’t be relied on to fulfill Gods Promises in our lives, there would be no salvation temporally nor eternally.

2Co 1:18-20 But as God is true, our word toward you was not yea and nay. For the Sonof God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us, even by me and Silvanus and Timotheus, was not yea and nay, but in him was yea. For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.

I personally have more commitments than I can count. I often over commit myself in my desire to help someone in need, yet I count it a privilege to do so knowing Christ did the same for me. This is what laying down your life for another is about. I am now determined if I commit then I do it anything less for any reason is not from God. I’ve learned no matter what situation God will take care of me as long as I let my yes be yes and my no be no.

Jas 1:5 -8 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.

Realizing the value in Gods Kingdom of keeping your word, you will then grow in Gods Truth until your word is aligned with Gods Word and His Life is formed within you.
