Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. (1John 3:9)
I remember being told that as long as I'm still in this body I'll continue sinning. I turn around and hear elsewhere that my negative addictions are a disease and I'll never be cured. Is there hope? Can I recover from the negative addictions of sin? The answer to both is yes! The referenced scripture above states such a time of recovery.
What is sin that makes it hold such control of my life? The simplest definition is that I choose things that miss the mark of Gods Will. Gods Word states that everything outside of Faith is sin. So Faithlessly I've attempted to fill up the empty pit inside my soul with people, places and things realizing later (after sin hurts me) that none of those things brings about contentment within. Once these things fail for some more desperate types of sin follow; some turned to alcohol, others promiscuity, others drugs the list can be endless as is the cycle of defeat these false solutions fuel.
I've been a Christian all my life, why haven't I quit sinning? Gods Word states that it is through faith and patience you inherit the promises (See Hebrews 6:12). And the promise of above isn't attained to overnight. Remember Faith comes by Hearing and Hearing by the Word of God (See Romans 10:17). Hearing implies understanding what you hear. The Parable of the Sower in Matthew 13:1 - 8 and explained in Matthew 13: 18 - 23 tells us the Word of God is the Seed that must remain in us. It is the Spirit of Christ (Gods Anointing, Wisdom and Power) being formed within (See Galatians 4:19; 1 Corinthians 1:24; John 1:12 KJV and Romans 8:9). It is this Power that makes us to Overcome the Wicked One (which is the Devil NOT our own flesh) (See Revelations 12:11.
Jesus PAID IN FULL the price for our sin that separated us from God the Father. Grace keeps us until the appointed time of the Father when His work (Truth in us) is completed inside and His Seed remains in us (See 1John 2:2; 4:10; Ephesians 2:8-10; Galatians 4:1-2). And its our Faith and Hope in Gods Promises having forsook the false solutions the world and its god Satan offers that makes us partakers of this Divine Nature (See 2Peter 1:1-11)
I don't have to live in depression, I don't have to believe the lies of the devil in the worlds false solutions, I don't have to try to satisfy the Empty pit within with anything but Gods Word, obeying Jesus' instructions while trusting with Faith in what God has done for us through His Son Jesus Christ.
Today I make a commitment to set aside all worry and preconceived notions or doctrines that have not empowered me to Overcome, And lay aside all the false solutions the world offers and I'll study the New Testament while asking God to give me understanding knowing and trusting He will strengthen me to walk out His Word in my life

2Co 8:14 But by an equality, that now at this time your abundance may be a supply for their want, that their abundance also may be a supply for your want: that there may be equality:
2Co 9:6 But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.
The world and worldly ministries work this way: GET THEN GIVE! Eternity works this way: GIVE THEN RECEIVE. All of us have need. It’s funny how the non-givers who have an abundance look at your need and call everything you may want above bare necessity greed but it’s not necessarily so, it’s really a heart matter, for them and you.
2Co 9:7 Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.
Luk 6:38 Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.
To have the heart of a giver is to have the heart of God. Couple that with Loving others as Christ Loved you then you have a Faith that can move mountains and receive the Promises of God.
Through our Faith we must learn to also give God all of our trust. In doing so our lives will be secured in His Promises and we will become partakers of his Divine Nature. (See 2nd Peter 1:4)
George Mueller was a great man of Faith who fully trusted God. So much so he never let any person know his needs, just God. But God heard and acted on Georges Faith so much so that Millions of Dollars was sent to him from around the world so he could open Gods vision in him of an orphanage and this occurred in the 1800’s; NO TV, NO Radio, NO Internet to beg on, just faith.
I’m learning to walk the same walk of faith. The learning process begins with being content with such things as you have. As you obey God in stewardship over what He has already given you He then will multiply your provision. Through 12 plus years in prison I saw God move in very real and very IMPOSSIBLE FOR MAN ways. Yet as I grew I still caught myself attempting to make things happen. This attitude of self reliance is the works of the flesh called emulations and its prevalent in the American Dream infiltrated Modern Church. Today I’m reaching that point that if I stand on God’s Promises do His Vision in me: Overcomers In Christ, and love others as Christ loved me He always brings my provision.
But Now Faith, is real, it’s a substance that’s Focused On Christ’s Unlimited Supply. A supply which is always attached to one of Gods Promises, Promises which we trust and teach others to also trust. And that life giving, Divine Nature Birthing, spiritual supply does not have anything to do with success of the World, the American Dream, being seen nor praised by men, getting more possessions nor trusting in Man’s Fallen False Solutions all of which perish in the end thus glorifying the god of this world Satan, BUT TRUE FAITH KNOWS GODS PROMISES AND TRUSTS THEM FULLY and is always attached to a life giving work of God through His vision that is given and abides in His True Elect.
Psa 37:3-7 Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed. Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. THIS PRESENT TRUTH REVISITED

2Pe 1:12 Wherefore I will not be negligent to put you always in remembrance of these things, though ye know them, and be established in the present truth.
This Present Truth is not something that during the days our Lord walked the earth in human form that the world nor even the religious leaders of His day could understand nor accept. Yet God always had a plan to bring us to the utmost highest level of spiritual understanding to the true spiritual excellence found in Christ as we enter His Kingdom.
This Present Truth is found in the New Testament writings and the Old Testament Prophets as we dig deep to learn, understand and attain to the Mind of Christ. Jesus in the Gospels foretold us that these Liberating Truths would be revealed to us at a later time a time we moving forward in now.
Joh 16:12-13 I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
How hard is it Church to understand its not about you but about Him. That His Word does the work in you to convert you into a New Sinless Creation. Not that your flesh wont sin but that you wont identify with it but with who is now formed in you.
Rom 7:5-25 For when we were in the flesh, the motions of sins, which were by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death. But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter. What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet. But sin, taking occasion by the commandment, wrought in me all manner of concupiscence. For without the law sin was dead. For I was alive without the law once: but when the commandment came, sin revived, and I died. And the commandment, which was ordained to life, I found to be unto death. For sin, taking occasion by the commandment, deceived me, and by it slew me. Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good. Was then that which is good made death unto me? God forbid. But sin, that it might appear sin, working death in me by that which is good; that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful. For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin. For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I. If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is good. Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me. For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not. So then with the mind I myself serve the law (of Liberty ie the Present Truth that has made you free from the law of Sin and Death) of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.

I guess to fully understand grace you would need to understand that a full and complete knowledge of God is needed to get the fullness of grace in your life:
2Pe 1:2 Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge (Greek Epi-gnosis= full and complete knowledge) of God, and of Jesus our Lord,
Then this, all past and all future Present Truths would tell you:

2 Corinthians 6:14-18
14 Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? 15 And what accord has Christ with Belial (Belial=a demon)? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever? 16 And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you* are the temple of the living God. As God has said: "I will dwell in them And walk among them. I will be their God, And they shall be My people."+ 17 Therefore "Come out from among them And be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, And I will receive you."* 18 "I will be a Father to you, And you shall be My sons and daughters, Says the Lord Almighty."*

Can two walk together, unless they are agreed?
Agreement causes peace between the parties that are in agreement. But when two cannot agree arguments and division occur. We see this constantly in the world between nations. We see this constantly with the number of people divorcing. We see this constantly in religious circles. And sadly we see it in Christianity. And it is only to Christians the opening scriptures are aiming its warnings toward.
The first agreement I had to come to in my walk as a Christian is when God the Father called me to His Son Jesus Christ. I heard the Gospel because God caused me to hear it and He gave me the measure of Faith to believe and agree with it. Then the war began against my soul to keep me from growing in this the beginning Seed of Life that Truth Births:
Jas 1:18
Of his own will begat he us(birthed us again) with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.
The war that began against me at the time of my new birth was by satan, the god of this world, to keep me away from the Truth that would cleanse me, heal me, sanctify me, renew me, provide for me, strengthen me, and empower me to become a son of God whereby I could overcome satan and place Gods enemies under my feet.
Joh 15:3
Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.
2Co 4:3
But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:
Mat 6:8 Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.
1Pe 2:24
Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
John 1:12
But as many as received him, to them gave he power F2 to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me

And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.
You see if you are following any other path or teaching or solution other than that which is accorded to you in the Rightly Divided Truth of Gods Word through Faith in Jesus Christ then you are agreeing with satan. Take time today to begin a comprehensive study of the New Testament which is Gods Gift to you and all who would receive a love for the Truth, and in it you will find the Promises that will make you a partaker of the Divine Nature if you will only agree with them!

Php 3:18-19 (For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ: Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.)

From the base of; a stake or post (as set upright), that is, (specifically) a pole or cross (as an instrument of capital punishment); figuratively exposure to death, that is, self denial; by implication the atonement of Christ: - cross.
Daily I am exposed to the death of the world as its ideals its goodness and its evils attempt to invade my mind with thoughts contrary to the Work and Victory of the Cross.
The Cross that I pick up daily is my obedience to God to acknowledge the Truth of His Word in my heart, to Trust uncompromisingly His Promises. But when I allow the Works of my flesh to guide my life then I am giving in to the carnal thoughts and solutions of the world and its god Satan. And it’s usually the dark forces of the fallen nature of goodness that attempts to detour me away from the Spirit of Christ.
Pro 14:12 There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.
Many things are contrary to the Work of the Cross in our lives and I’ve said before the arrogance of the worlds fallen nature of its own goodness is summed up in this statement:
“There is a goodness in the world that cheats its possessor out of the True Knowledge of God and True Faith in Jesus Christ.”
The hypocrisy of this is it judges its twin fallen nature of evil. Both natures are contrary to the work of the Cross in your life. Yet it’s easier to get an evil man to repent of his wickedness then it is to get a good man to repent of his wicked goodness.
So the Cross is first upright stance rooted in the Truth of Gods Word against the world and its god Satan.

From the base of; a stake or post (as set upright), that is, (specifically) a pole or cross (as an instrument of capital punishment); figuratively exposure to death, that is, self denial; by implication the atonement of Christ: - cross.
Daily I am exposed to the death of the world as its ideals its goodness and its evils attempt to invade my mind with thoughts contrary to the Work and Victory of the Cross.
The Cross that I pick up daily is my obedience to God to acknowledge the Truth of His Word in my heart, to Trust uncompromisingly His Promises. But when I allow the Works of my flesh to guide my life then I am giving in to the carnal thoughts and solutions of the world and its god Satan. And it’s usually the dark forces of the fallen nature of goodness that attempts to detour me away from the Spirit of Christ.
Pro 14:12 There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.
Many things are contrary to the Work of the Cross in our lives and I’ve said before the arrogance of the worlds fallen nature of its own goodness is summed up in this statement:
“There is a goodness in the world that cheats its possessor out of the True Knowledge of God and True Faith in Jesus Christ.”
The hypocrisy of this is it judges its twin fallen nature of evil. Both natures are contrary to the work of the Cross in your life. Yet it’s easier to get an evil man to repent of his wickedness then it is to get a good man to repent of his wicked goodness.

Isa 61:1 The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;
Broken heartedness is a good thing before God if its caused by the revelation of Truth in your life. But many of us are suffering broken hearts as consequences to choices we have made usually by either getting ahead of God or totally out of His will. This condition occurs when we forget the things God is trying to do in our lives and instead we look back to our pasts in hopes of resurrecting things that should stay dead and buried. But God says:

The wilderness God is going to make a way in is our hearts and the rivers is His Anointing that will flow out of His healed vessels like rivers of living waters.
Guilt, shame, condemnation and looking back are not of God. These things are of the Devil and the Devil does nothing but accuse in order to kill, steal and destroy the call of God in your life. So many in the Church today want to keep something together that wasn’t of God. Relationships, businesses, even ministry efforts and these things if not moved on from become a spiritual prison that will dry up the anointing that God wants to form within you.
God wants to do a new thing in your life today, to free you from darkness and light the way to life. Make a decision today to stop living contrary to His calling allow Him to mend your broken heart and show you His way to an abundant life?

God's Doing A New Thing Through His New Creatures
GOD’S DOING NEW THINGS

Isa 43:18-19 Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.
God has a great and mighty work to do. And the magnificent revelation of this is that He will do His work first inside, planting within you His vision for you, then through us as a whole; Christ’s Body. Recently I shared with you the miraculous way God provides for those who He lives through. That provision is found in this command and promise:
Mat 6:31 -34 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
As I do what God tells me to do He has yet to fall short on meeting my needs. Yes He does this through others. Sometimes I know those He provides through sometimes I don’t, sometimes it comes from Him opening doors for the work of my hands and other times it just comes, but none come from Him without my first seeking His Kingdom and His Righteousness. Oh those devils that’s infiltrated and inhabit today’s modern religionists better hear this: Gods True Workers will continue in Christ’s Labor of Love in spite of your efforts to defraud, weaken and defile Christ’s Body with your false heretical solutions.
Ministries abound that beg the public for money then tell everyone what a great work of God they are doing, when they are not bearing good fruit. There’s nothing wrong with asking for help when you are doing Gods work, but when what you are doing doesn’t profit Gods Kingdom then its fraud. But these play on the societies fears and compassion, for the love of money to be seen and applauded by men. But the New Creature exists within Gods abundance having learned to obey and hear the voice of the Father, loving others as Christ has loved them.
It hurts to see so many driven back to their familiar spirits because religion either tells them it’s the right thing to do or makes the life in Christ such a burden with their rules and regulations that there seems to be more liberty in their past lives.
But now God wants to do a new thing. He wants you to know your inheritance in Christ. He wants to change you to be filled with His Life and Power and He does this all through His Word of Truth.

Heb 11:13-16 These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country. And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned. But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.
Last night the Lord spoke to me and told me to "Let the dead bury the dead" and to “Come and follow Me”. And this morning I’ve realized that’s all I really desire is to follow Him. And the times I do are full of a peace that surpasses understanding.
Recently I’ve been striving with Apostates who have attempted to steal the Vision God has given me, and the crazy thing is I know that it’s alive in me and what religion does will be a very weak imitation. I’ve also realized these tares must grow along with the wheat until the time of Harvest, also knowing that their heresies must exist so that those who are approved of God (not man) will come forth. Yet I still find myself getting caught up in compassion toward the many people I hear from daily that they have hurt. And I want to help.
So many in the Church today turn back to things God had opened an avenue of escape for them from. And many of these are pushed to do so by these dead religionists. And many more live these non fruitful existences in Church while being supported and applauded by others in the Church trapped in the same darkness of iniquity.
For me, my looking back was to again strive for worldly riches, the American Dream, to go back to a lost love, to find a place of peace which the world nor the worldly Church really does not offer. To just be accepted by those that appear to be so right, WHEN THE WORD IN ME KNOWS BETTER, so what was I thinking?
BUT NOW I desire a better country, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called my God: for he hath prepared for me a city. And it is my hearts desire to help others know the Truth that will first make them free then set them on the course of Eternal Life.

How I Created Frankenstein
HOW I CREATED FRANKENSTEIN
BY GETTING AHEAD OF GOD

Mat 7:6 Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.
The way you receive the Promises of God is through doing the will of God while you wait on His Promises through Faith and Patience. His Promises are your and my inheritance. From Gods Spirit of Christ and Vision growing within you, to each Promise in His Word whereby you become partakers of the Divine Nature, you only receive by submitting yourself patiently to doing Gods Will. What God doesn’t want is for you to get ahead of Him through impatience and cast the pearls of your vision to swine. The repercussions in the physical will seem devastating but at His Appointed Time Gods faithfulness to His Promise: Rom 11:29 For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance, will be yours.
All the first Apostles and Disciples and all who came after them in Christ are giving vision particular to them, their vessel, their experience; hence my error. I met a man trained in higher education and middle of the road religionist, he had a vision an earthly vision of administrations within a particular building, I shared my vision from God then got ahead of God by teaming up with this individual. The difference between a talent you develop by higher education such as degrees in administration and a True Vision from God is the difference between death and life. In life in Christ, loving others as Christ loved us is the number one priority, in intellectual death it’s all about show and about protecting the building the entity of ministry and not those God wants helped. So as if there are not enough personal and territorial spiritual battles to wage war against now God has seen fit to prepare me for battle with the principalities that would steal, kill and destroy someone else’s vision, thank you Jesus.
This isn’t about ego it’s about the True Risen Savior Jesus Christ. It’s not about buildings nor being seen but about the Truth of Gods Word. It’s not about a dead one page administrative outline but about a Living Vision of God that was written and developed within my heart through years of discipleship by the Holy Spirit. How dare him say he had the same vision and then hurt and harm so many people that have come there for help. How dare him through fraud and misusing mine and other peoples trust on the board to get signatures on government paperwork to ultimately fulfill his mission of ego propelled covetousness. I trusted him as others did but all that was accomplished was to create a Frankenstein Monster that’s out of Gods will, light, life and control.
Gods Word tells us to plainly expose the unfruitful works of darkness, and that our battles are not against flesh and blood. So in the process I find myself loving the individual but hating the demonic principality that controls him. Nevertheless the host of the demon must be admonished, his lies exposed.
So in your vision that God has given only you to do just know there are impostors that will invade it and try to take it, so guard yourself and don’t get ahead of God as I did. And know and rest in this: where you are is where your vision is as it is within you. If you have been hurt by false brethren don’t give up, move forward and do the work God has given you to do.

Partaking In Christs Sufferings
PARTAKING IN CHRISTS SUFFERINGS

Romans 8:17
And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; IF so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.
In today's ear tickling FEEL GOOD CHURCH true Christianity is lost in a dark sea of worldliness and emotionalism. To be partakers of Christ's sufferings are necessary to become joint heirs with Him in Salvation. Crucifying our flesh with its lusts and passions is only part of the sufferings. The sufferings of Christ come in times of testing. They come when our Faith is being tried. The tribulation of these sufferings is necessary to enter into the Kingdom Of God:
Acts 14:22
Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.
It is the fiery trials of life wherein we have opportunity to either Trust in Gods Promises or fall into the trap of the world's false solutions. The Word of Truth is necessary to shape our attitudes and response to these sufferings.
1 Peter 4:12 -
Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: 13 But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.
If I am truly in the Faith then Christ's sufferings are transforming me into the very image of Gods Son. And I, in Him, am overcoming the world and its god; Satan. To grow in Gods Grace I must look to Jesus Who is the Author and Finisher of my Faith to strengthen me to walk in the Light of His Truth towards Gods Promises which are accomplished in us on the other side of the sufferings.
Hebrews 12:2
Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
The book of James tells me I am to apply the same Joy Christ did in my testings:
James 1:2
My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
The Joy of the Lord is your strength in times of testing and that Joy you will find in Gods Presence through Rightly Dividing the Word of Truth and in constant Prayer. Patience always WAITS ON GOD'S PROMISES (side note: Patience never waits on obeying Christ's Commands). And Wisdom always avoids the World's Ways.

FOR HIS SEED REMAINETH IN YOU

1Jn 3:9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
I believe to understand what this means is lost to many in today’s All Solutions Are From God Church. But all Solutions Offered in this world to you are not from God. But for those who do understand this it means they know what’s in Gods Word and that it is truly alive, it’s powerful and has born them again into a New Creation wherein they become partakers of the Divine Nature (see 2Peter1:3-4; 2 Corinthians 1:20; 1Corinthians 1:24; Galatians 4:19; Colossians 1:27). And these are in whom the Love of God will be perfected wherein they Love Others as Christ Loved Them. And it’s trust in Gods Promises that separates the True believers from those who trust in and give praise to the illusion of the solutions Satan and his kingdom in this world offer.
One of the scriptures that reveals what God gives you is in the book of James:
Jas 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.
Simply put it is not a gift from God if it is imperfect, but it is from a god the god of this world Satan.
To Overcome the Wicked One is to trust Gods Promises and STOP trusting in and being taken captive by Satans False Solutions and Schemes. This is the purpose Jesus came to this Earth. This is also our purpose and what Christ; Gods Word His Wisdom, Power and Anointing causes us to do:
Rev 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
1Jn 3:8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother
Sin is Missing the Mark of God, Gods Promises are His Mark, and it's when you rely on the Worlds False Solutions to lifes problems. Ask yourself What's your solution: Dr Phil, a Pill, Mr. Bill or Jesus?
Gods Seed is His Word(see Mt 13:1-8 18-23),. If it dwells in you in your intellect it hasn’t yet made the trip to your heart wherein Life, the Divine Nature, and Gods Love begins to grow. This type of knowledge is Greek: gnosis - gno'-sis
From; knowing (the act), that is, (by implication) knowledge: - knowledge, science, intellect.
Men through this fallen self emulating intellect continue to try to build their Towers of Babel either to get to God or call it God, it was our beloved Apostle Paul that warned of your stagnating in this type of intellectual grasp of Gods Word that will never produce the Gods’ Fruit of Love within:
1Co 8:1 Now as touching things offered unto idols, we know that we all have knowledge (gnosis). Knowledge (gnosis) puffeth up, but love edifieth.
In our Recovery Meetings we use 2 Peter 1:1-11 to help keep our focus on Total Recovery in Christ to deliver us from Satan’s many hurts, false solutions, detours and roadblocks he places on us or in our path. You will notice in these verses the power of Gods Promises and what we must do to work out our salvation in fear and trembling to grow into the perfection of Gods Love.
In 2 Peter 1 you will see the word knowledge but in these scriptures it is not referring to intellectual knowledge but a deeper abiding understanding of Gods Heart and Mind on matters;
2Pe 1:2-16a Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge (epignosis) of God, and of Jesus our Lord, According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge (epignosis) of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge (epinosis); And to knowledge (epignosis)…….
Knowledge: Greek; epignōsis
recognition, that is, (by implication) full discernment, acknowledgement: - (ac-) knowledge (-ing, -ment). In Truth you become converted into a New Creature with the heart and mind of God.
Remember in John 1:1 the Word was God and in verse 14 the Word was made flesh. Jesus would only speak what He heard the Father speak and do what He saw the Father do as He was had the fullness of the Godhead Bodily (epignosis). This wasn’t/isn’t Theology.
1Jn 2:5 But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him
The word keepeth is most important and much deeper than the temporary keeping the world translates it into today it implies safe imprisonment:
Keep: Greek; tēreō
tay-reh'-o
to guard (from loss or injury, properly by keeping the eye upon; which is properly to prevent escaping; which implies a fortress or full military lines of apparatus),
When Gods Word abides in you in “epignosis” maturity is close at at hand wherein the Kingdom of God has entered into you:
Heb 5:11-14 Of whom we have many things to say, and hard to be uttered, seeing ye are dull of hearing. For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat. For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe. But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.
The Word of Righteousness, that is full abiding Faith and Trust in Gods Promises is Gods Seed remaining in you, this has nothing to do with the work of the flesh that is the body of sin the earthen vessel you as this New Creation dwells in. It has to do with the sinless unadulterated Word of God that Seed that produces the Love of God that becomes life, light, hope, direction, provision, healing and recovery within you to impart to those whom God brings before you to come to Christ. God is Love.
