Recognizing The Schemes Of The Enemy

2Ti 2:26 And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the Devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.
One of the first things to have guarded is your mind. The mind can quickly be ensnared by subtle thoughts that play on your emotions of the moment. Therefore a determination is needed to look straight ahead and up at the calling where which you were called with.
So then focus on Gods Word and His Call are the first things in being able to recognize the enemies schemes. Secondly something or someone from your past or present someone you may know or don’t know can be used by the enemy to begin yet another imprisoning scheme on your life. If you know the person they may all of a sudden be doing something out of character to entice you. If so be on guard if Satan has used them to hold you captive once he will again.
But if taken captive only one thing can make you free and that is the Truth of Gods Word:
2Ti 2:24-26 And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient, In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the Devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.
But to avoid the captivity simply don’t look back.
Php 3:13-14 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
It took me a long time to not look back and it appears many just have to go through what they are determined to. I survived and it is my prayer for all that return to the mire they wake up repent turn to Truth and live a life pleasing to God knowing the difference between His Open Doors and Satan’s Schemes.

Proverbs 25:11 Read This Chapter
A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold In settings of silver.
One of the most beautiful descriptions of what our tongue can become, in Christ, is written above. What a beautiful analogy that description is of the Word of Life. It is describing what the gift of Prophecy does through us in this day and age.
In 1st Corinthians 14 we learn that Prophecy today is for the edification and exhortation of the Church. It is like a word fitly spoken in due season. The right word at the right time. It is Gods Spirit flowing through you to speak life into someone's heart or circumstances. It is not intellectualized opinions, world views nor psychology. It does not delve into the Psyche. Nor analyze the situation. It does though Create life as its light reveals Gods heart on a matter. It encourages, edifies, exhorts, comforts, corrects and changes the negative course one may be on and redirects them to the Narrow Way of Life in Christ.
Gods timing in all things is perfect His Spirit working all things for the good of those that are the called of God. Gods Word speaking spiritual life into the hearers.
Joh 6:63
It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.
Pr 18:21
Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.
There are those that are negative about everything and everyone; gossiping, backbiting, tale bearing. Always tearing down what God is building.
Ro 1:30
Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
Jude 1:16
These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaketh great swelling words, having men's persons in admiration because of advantage.
Jude 1:17
But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ;
Jude 1:18
How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts.

Lord help us today speak only what is good and edifying to others in Your sight. Speak through us to build up and exhort encourage and comfort. Guard our mouths O Lord to not speak evil nor be partakers with them that do and guard our ears to be careful what we hear. Let our words be to the hearers like Apples of Gold in Settings of Silver.

HEALING A FRAGMENTED HEART

Ps 34:18
The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.
Your heart has been broken! Maybe by loss of a loved one to eternity, a divorce or a break-up, or perceived failures according to the worlds standards resulting in loss of your career, your job, etc. The GOOD NEWS is that God is in the HEART HEALING business. And YOUR HEALING can begin today!
King David's heart was broken and at first he looked in the wrong directions for healing.
Ps 69:20
Reproach hath broken my heart; and I am full of heaviness: and I looked for some to take pity, but there was none; and for comforters, but I found none.
The spiritual adversary wants to use your broken heart to misdirect you, get you self absorbed, looking backwards to the past and not forward in Christ. But God wants to heal you.
Ps 147:3
He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.
From an early age I was misdirected toward things I thought would make me happy. I thought I would be happy and content IF ONLY I COULD...switch to this mate, achieve this goal, get this high, experience this thrill, own this possession, travel there , do this, do that...the list is endless as is the cycle of defeat it fuels. There was no real security in the things the world holds so dear. The god of this world; satan had done a good job misdirecting my heart. And after I became a Christian satan simply increased the subtlety of his misdirection's thus I found myself as a Christian still bound and hurting, still reaching for things that were not Gods Will for me. I had to learn right choices in Christ and this obedience was actually produced through the suffering satan had caused me.
Not everything that satan uses against us can initially be avoided by right choices. For example; loss of a loved one through divorce, separation or death causes suffering. Time to mourn is needed for healing to begin. I myself lost my two youngest sons Joshua 12 and Nicolas 11 in a car wreck March 7th 2009. When I was told about it I felt I couldn't make it, so much had the devil robbed from me in this life, but this by far was the single most biggest hurt my heart had ever known...BUT GOD to Whom all things belong would end up using that to teach me and make me understand and that through that I would partake in Christ's Sufferings so my heart would become more like His. Therefore what satan meant for evil God wants to turn and use for our good and moreso for the good of others.
Heb 5:8
Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered;
We must make up our minds that self pity doesn't become a lifestyle that the world, its toys and its people doesn't become a god to us.
Ho 10:2
Their heart is divided; now shall they be found faulty: he shall break down their altars, he shall spoil their images.
As we turn back to God in times of suffering, in prayer, worship and study of His Word lets do so with a Whole Heart and trust the promise that God will heal us.
Jer 24:7
And I will give them an heart to know me, that I am the LORD: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God: for they shall return unto me with their whole heart.

WALKING BY FAITH NOT BY SIGHT

2Co 5:1-8 For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven: If so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked. For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life. Now he that hath wrought us for the selfsame thing is God, who also hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit. Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord: (For we walk by faith, not by sight:) We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.
Mortality of our human bodies and the finiteness of our carnal minds hinder many from the victory God has for us to grow into through Faith in Christ. It is almost faddish to be an American Christian have our conferences, retreats, youth rallies and social gatherings and motives for many are far from what life in the true Body of Christ is supposed to be about.
Our Apostle Paul was a man when he was named Saul zealous for the earthly House of God and all it and the Law represented then on a trip to imprison Christians he met Jesus our Risen Savior. He was blinded signifying the things he once walked by sight of was not the true reality of God then he had to be taught as Faith cometh by Hearing and Hearing by the Word of God.…. And Who better to taught by than the Spirit of Christ Who is the Word of God.
That same Spirit wants to teach us today. First through Preachers in-filled with the Anointing (Spirit of Christ) then as Christ is formed in you your spiritual ears will open and you will desire not earthly things but heavenly things.
Paul, once he was taught knew this, and sought diligently to birth the Spirit of Christ in others.
Gal 4:19 My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you,
Rom 8:9-10 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness
Walking by Faith brings about the righteousness of God, not in anything I do but trust in what He has done, a total reliance on His Promises. You must know with all spiritual knowing that a heavenly body is awaiting you, that the right answer from your lips is your confession of your trust and reliance on Gods Word as your total source of all our needs.
Many today call things of this world Gods Blessings many are caught up in the sociality of Church, their own goodness being confused with conversion. There is a tragic end to those who believe in their self accomplishments and charities:
Mat 7:21-23 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
This does not have to be you. If you are caught up in the busy-ness of dead religion and Gods Word is not your ALL ENCOMPASSING thought, if you have to fit God into your schedule or if you are calling those things that are not Gods, His then what you need is a good infusion of Truth in your life to first change your mind then to convert you.

WHEN TRUST IS AN ISSUE

Pro 3:-6Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
Someone you’ve trusted has betrayed your trust, and now you have trouble trusting at all. It could have been a parent who was less than a parent should be, a co-worker, an employer, a friend, a family member, your child, your teacher, your husband, your wife, God?
Trust issues go down into the very core of your being and once damaged become very hard to heal and trust again. Fear of trusting can leave one isolated, alone, paranoid and fearful. And sadly many who have been betrayed in their trust have a hard time trusting again. Their end result is not trusting God Who is absolutely trustworthy once you learn to trust His Will and not your desires.
One of the greatest evils that have worn a cloak of recovery is that you can have a God of your own understanding. This alone turns your isolation into an independence apart from the True God.
But before you turn to the issue of How To Trust God you need healing for the damage betrayal has caused in your life. This healing will come from God Whom you will learn to trust in Christ Jesus.
Mat 11:29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
In order to find that rest you must learn about the True Risen Savior. And your approach to Him should be to know He isn’t religious nor judgmental, nor hateful nor unforgiving. In fact He loved you so much He took your and my infirmities and sin into His Body on the cross paying the penalty for our transgressions thus delivering us back into a loving relationship with God the Father. To know Christ is to know His Love:
1 Corinthians 13
The Greatest Gift Love
1 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. 2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned,[a] but have not love, it profits me nothing.
4 Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; 5 does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; 6 does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; 7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
8 Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away. 9 For we know in part and we prophesy in part. 10 But when that which is perfect has come, then that which is in part will be done away.
11 When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things. 12 For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known.
13 And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.
Jesus was filled with this Love. It is a fruit that can grow in your life bringing with it healing a healing paid for by the punishment Jesus took for you and I.
1Pe 2:24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
Now here is the crux of the matter: living unto righteousness. That is the righteousness of God (not the self righteousness of religion) that is GIVEN to us through Faith of Jesus Christ.
Php 3:9 And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:
Please note that it is through the FAITH OF CHRIST And Christ had absolute Faith which is absolute TRUST in God the Father.
The next thing you must know is that GOD DOES NOT BREAK HIS PROMISES! Sometimes you will have to wait on them PATIENTLY but you can TRUST they are yours. To begin growing in this Trust you must grow in Faith.
Rom 10:17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
The Word of God is Jesus Christ Who was the Word made Flesh:
Joh 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God
Joh 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
Gods Promises are in His Word Jesus delivers them to you and they cause you to become a partaker of Gods Divine Nature (see 2Peter 1:4, 2Cor 1:20) , a Nature wherein is Light, Love, Trust, Healing and Joy immeasurable.

The next thing you must know is that GOD DOES NOT BREAK HIS PROMISES! Sometimes you will have to wait on them PATIENTLY but you can TRUST they are yours. To begin growing in this Trust you must grow in Faith.
Rom 10:17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
The Word of God is Jesus Christ Who was the Word made Flesh:
Joh 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God
Joh 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
Gods Promises are in His Word Jesus delivers them to you and they cause you to become a partaker of Gods Divine Nature (see 2Peter 1:4, 2Cor 1:20) , a Nature wherein is Light, Love, Trust, Healing and Joy immeasurable.

Joh 1:11-13 He came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power (right) to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
Exercise is a striving to meet a challenge. Many in the Church today do not exercise their right to receive the privileges in Christ in order to become a son and by inclusion a daughter of the Most High God. They instead choose the lesser visual path of the worlds, therefore Satan’s hell bound benefit package to meet the challenges of life.
Complete Wholeness is what Christ has to offer. Total Healing: Physically, Spiritually, Emotionally and Provisionally. But there is a Christ in the churches today that is not the True Risen Savior.
Mat 24:24 For there shall arise false Christ’s, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
Mar 13:22 For false Christ’s and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect.
Because of the perilous times we are in it is therefore your responsibility to not enter into the deception the False Christ’s offer. Your first and foremost right you must exercise then is that right to become the elect of God.
2Pe 1:9-11 But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins. Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall: For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
Paul the Apostle instructed and warned us:

Gal 3:1 O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you?
It all comes down to Who you put your trust in; mans accomplishments which equate to Satans solutions to lifes circumstances or the Promises of God that make you a Partaker of His Divine Nature?

Hab 2:1-6 I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved. And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith. Yea also, because he transgresseth by wine, he is a proud man, neither keepeth at home, who enlargeth his desire as hell, and is as death, and cannot be satisfied, but gathereth unto him all nations, and heapeth unto him all people: Shall not all these take up a parable against him, and a taunting proverb against him, and say, Woe to him that increaseth that which is not his! how long? and to him that ladeth himself with thick clay!
A sister came to me yesterday and said she saw a vision it was a vision about a Church and someone we know Pastoring. Also a bother recently came telling me of a vision he has for ministry shelters out in the country. This brother and sister are good representations of the true Body of Christ and those God is calling those to speak and do His Will, those Jesus referred to as the Least of These. You see neither of these brethren are highly regarded by the world and its counterfeit church. The Brother had been thrown out of what’s become a terminal dead work in this town and the Sister a lady who lives alone ostracized from her American Dream seeking family because of her faith. These two are a good example of those drawn by God into our Total Recovery Meetings. These have experienced the horror of how Satan through loveless religion sought to kill them.
Many of you know the spiritual fraud and theft by deception that’s been attempted of the 17+ year old vision God birthed in me in the person of Christ (Gods Anointing) to do a specific work which is the vision written on the newsletter. The vision of OverComers In Christ Outreach Ministries and Overcomers in Christ International Total Recovery Ministries and its many Labor of Christ Love facets. God gave me every last bit of information from the writings, to the design of the logo, to the Ministry Facet Names, to the Ministry Industry Names and this fraud has continued using them when the right thing is to stop and pray God grant them repentance to the acknowledging of the Truth. The worst thing is they are hurting many of those who have come there for help. And those now hurt are having a very hard time trusting God because of the broken promises by apostates. If any of you have trusted and loved someone unconditionally and they did you wrong then you know what I am saying. It could have been a spouse, a friend or family member that ended up not really of God and they were used by Satan to hurt you. But let me tell you this; many religionists have tried to convince me it was not Biblical for me to expose the lies and stand on Truth in these matters yet God told me these would have also tried to rebuke Jesus for turning over the money exchangers tables. The fact is we do not have to respect, nor tolerate nor stand idly by while the devil runs rampant in these show and tell ministries.
Jesus has this to say to them:
Mat 21:31-32..……….Jesus saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That the publicans and the harlots go into the kingdom of God before you. For John came unto you in the way of righteousness, and ye believed him not: but the publicans and the harlots believed him: and ye, when ye had seen it, repented not afterward, that ye might believe him.
Dead religion never stops walking by intellect, evil judgments and dead works readily accepted by society. You see John the Baptist came in the way of TRUE RIGHTEOUSNESS with proclamations such as
Mat 3:1-8 In those days came John the Baptist, preaching in the wilderness of Judaea, And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. For this is he that was spoken of by the prophet Esaias, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight. And the same John had his raiment of camel's hair, and a leathern girdle about his loins; and his meat was locusts and wild honey. Then went out to him Jerusalem, and all Judaea, and all the region round about Jordan, And were baptized of him in Jordan, confessing their sins. But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees come to his baptism, he said unto them, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come? Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance:
Joh 1:29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.
The Publicans and the Harlots, the Tramps and the Thieves all will enter the Kingdom of God before the self righteous Pharisees of today. Sadly the Devils work will stand until Judgment Day and woe unto those who allowed Satans work to continue deceiving and being deceived they are doing the work of God.

LONELINESS

Ps 38:11 My lovers and my friends stand aloof from my sore; and my kinsmen stand afar off.
If you ever been bound by loneliness due to separation by divorce, death, or desertion. If you've ever been ostracized by family and friends due to struggles, bondages or poverty that’s come upon you. If you have reached a point in your life you have isolated yourself, have turned to what Gods Word says are the beggarly elements (Drugs, Alcohol, Immoralities, Wicked Imaginations, Evil Judgments, etc). If you've ever suffered the consequences wrong choices produce; consequences like prison, disease and negative addictions. If you are wondering if True Love really exists, if there is anyone you can trust that cares about you and can return the love that you know you yourself have given in the past and are willing to give again...there is.
It would seem right at this time to talk about God and the fact that God is Love this being the appropriate response. It would only be spiritually correct to mention that Jesus Never Leaves You Nor Forsakes You !
And you and I both need to be reminded of these things often. Things, in addition, like God will supply ALL OUR needs according to His riches and glory in Christ Jesus. Yet these Good Fruits should be found working in and through Gods People, Christ’s Body The Church. And it is this relationship in fellowship we need. But it seems we await Divine Intervention on those in need without lifting a finger to be that vessel of Promise;
2nd Corinthians 1:20 For all the Promise of God in Him are yea and in Him amen to the glory of God through us!
May 19th 2008 I was released from Prison. An accumulative 12 years has left me alone, divorced, avoided, considered hopeless, a failure, full of Gods Vision in me of OverComers In Christ Outreach Ministries but nowhere to start. I was Loved but rarely told, no longer made a part of family events, having to start over with nothing with no one to give the help GOD WANTS to give through them. Then I realized that most in today’s church do not know this; that delivering Gods Promises to others is their responsibility. And I had to realize it is more so my responsibility since I was given knowledge of this:
Mt 25:33-45 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: For I was an hungered, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungered, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: For I was an hungered, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not. Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungered, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee? Loneliness began turning my heart to self pity, self absorption became the slave master then old sin crept in. I began looking at the false solutions the world offers. I was in depression being oppressed by the spiritual enemy. No transportation, no money, no one who loves me....poor, poor pitiful me. Then someone said I need to count my blessings WHAT? LIGHTS ON, ACTION! GOD BEGAN GRANTING ME REPENTANCE TO THE ACKNOWLEDGING OF TRUTH! And it was the Human Vessel that said to count my blessings that’s caused me to refocus on Gods Vision For Me: To Love Others As Christ Loved Me! Loneliness is just a snare the enemy Satan uses. As you and I become vessels of Gods Promises to others, God Says:
Isa 54:17 No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.
Nor will the enemies weapons prosper against you

Jas 4:4-6 Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God. Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain, The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy? But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.
Satan was the first adulterer. His heart turned from God the Creator to self esteem. He lifted himself up in his mind to be greater than God, he was proud and not truly knowing the deeper things of God. In his pride he thought; “I can do what God does even better“. And he has set his false ministers into positions of authority into many of today’s ministries, their purpose knowingly or unknowingly is to do his terminal will.
Self emulation and self esteem are the snares Satan uses to take captive those who are not yet made free in the Rightly Divided Truth of Gods Word. True ministers of Christ are known by their peace and their meekness, they always Love as Christ loved as their visions from God calls them into the conversion of a son or daughter of God. But few truly understand the meaning of believing on the name of Jesus.
2Ti 2:24-26 And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient, In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.
Joh 1:12-13 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
If a man exalts himself as head of a ministry be concerned and be careful around such prideful devils as they will suck the life of Christ right out of you if you allow them. Jesus should be the Head of any Christian or Christian Ministry. I know one self appointed false head who if he enlarged his name tag and title any more he would have to wear a back brace to support its weight, silly man turning a vision from God into a cultic dead work. EXCAVATING THE LAYERS OF PAIN

The Apostle Paul instructs us by example in
Philippians 3:13-14 "...but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
You have a calling in Christ you know it or sensed it at one time. A high calling of God in Christ. Now life's circumstances have caused you pain maybe multiple layers of pain since the time you first heard the call of God. Its these layers of pain that are now holding you in doubt and disbelief and they are still being used by the adversary to keep you from pressing forward to your high calling. These layers of hurt could have been caused by broken relationships, divorce, loss of loved ones, the death of a child, loss of a job, your career, abuse as a child, abuse as an adult, sickness, failure, rejection, addiction, alcoholism and the list goes on. The residual pain from hurts goes deep and though through time it appears you moved on but the non resolved issues have left open wounds that are not yet healed that God wants to heal and for you to have true victory from.
The way I know there was still buried emotional scars in my life is (for example) I might be somewhere having a wonderful time then something may seem familiar to me from a time past when a relationship or marriage was in place then suddenly my whole demeanor changes and depression rears its ugly head. My response would be to endure it then shake it off and feel okay again...but was I really okay?
Gods Word addresses these unresolved areas in our lives as fear. Fear stops the fruit of love from growing.
1John 3:18 states "There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear; because fear has torment. He that fears is not made perfect in love.
The first key to excavating the buried horrors of past hurts is to forgive those who have hurt you. Even if you felt abandonment through the death of a loved one forgive them release the hold on you that death has caused.
Pray out loud "Lord Jesus I forgive "Name" for leaving and I release them into Your care. Heal me Lord and now relieve me of the hurt I've carried inside for much to long a time. And forgive me of my unforgiveness."
Whatever your past entailed from death to abuse to abandonment to negative addictions consciously forgiving those who hurt you begins the excavating healing work of the Holy Spirit in your life.
Perfect Love casts out fear. I fear so I am not yet made perfect in love yet I can obey 1st Corinthians 13 which describes Gods Perfect Love then while obeying His Word we have His promise that perfect love cast out fear and to this end:
1John 2:5 "But whoso keeps His Word in him verily the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in Him.
You will soon discover the calloused over layers of pain inside of you, that are fed by fear, are gone.

LET YOUR LOVE BE WITHOUT DISSIMULATION

1 Corinthians 11:27-30
Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord. But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup. For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body. For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep.
There’s no doubt communion is serious business. Yet does it just entail the Breaking of the Bread and Drinking of the Wine?
1Colossians 11:26
For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till he come.
Would not our worthiness also entail our obedient response in all things pertaining to life and godliness? Isn’t that really what Jesus was saying to the Mother of Zebedee’s children?
Matthew 20:20-23
Then came to him the mother of Zebedee's children with her sons, worshiping him, and desiring a certain thing of him. And he said unto her, What wilt thou? She saith unto him, Grant that these my two sons may sit, the one on thy right hand, and the other on the left, in thy kingdom. But Jesus answered and said, Ye know not what ye ask. Are ye able to drink of the cup that I shall drink of, and to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with? They say unto him, We are able. And he saith unto them, Ye shall drink indeed of my cup, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with:
Could how we deal with other people determine whether we are worthily partaking of the Body and Blood of Christ? Remember our response to those in need is a response to Jesus Himself:
Matthew 25:45
Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.
Our responses to GIVING, FEEDING, CLOTHING, HOUSING, VISITING, LOVING and being the FAITH FILLED VESSELS of GOD’S LOVE and PROMISES WITHOUT DISIMULATION FILLED WITH THE POWER OF HIS HOLY SPIRIT DOES DETERMINE OUR HEALTH, REVEALING IF WE REALLY BELIEVE HIS TRUTH HIS PROMISES.
It is appointed to man once to die but if we will die to our own flesh its wicked thoughts and evil judgements having been truly born twice then wouldn’t we be true Ambassadors of The Kingdom of God wherein abides all power and fruit to everlasting life.

Proverbs 16:25
There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.
But Jesus proclaimed:
John 14:12
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father

Gen 2:25 And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.
There was a time when mans relationship with God was with childlike trust, healthy and whole and God Himself was the source of every thing man needed. It’s because Adam knew God intimately and God dealt with Adam as He would a son.. Therefore God Himself completed Adam. There was no shame in anything Adam did because He knew God and Gods breath, His Spirit, was in him. Adam believed in God.
During this time of perfection in the Garden, Eve was created by God from Adam to be Adams helpmate. But Eve proceeded to be deceived by the Serpent and ate of the forbidden tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. Adam then, I believe did exactly what God expected of him and he also ate of the Tree which became his laying down his life for his bride Eve. From that point sin entered the world through Adam. pointing to Him Who would become sin for us.
2Co 5:21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
Heb 9:28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.
Col 1:20-29 And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven. And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight: If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister; Who now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up that which is behind of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for his body's sake, which is the church: Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God; Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints: To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory: Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus: Whereunto I also labour, striving according to his working, which worketh in me mightily.
Eve was enticed by Satan then ensnared, then Adam transgressed and sin entered the world. Sin is an alienation of your mind from God by one thing and one thing only…Trusting the Flesh and the False Solutions Satan uses to entice it. These are snares of Satan.

In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother. For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.
If the Spirit of Christ has been formed in you (see Gal 4:19, 2Peter 1:4)by the Seed of Truth Gods Word (see Mk 4:14-20) you then are Born of God (see Js 1:15-18, 1Peter 1:23) thus having had the Faith of Christ you are now the Righteousness of God through Him (see Ro 3:20-26) then you are a sinless new creature. (see 2 Cor. 5:17, 1 John 3:9)
Then you have returned Back To The Garden and God is not ashamed to call you Son not because of anything you‘ve done but because of what He has done for you.

TRUE FAITH IS UNWAVERING
TRUST IN GODS PROMISES
(READ Hebrews 11:1-40)

Hebrews 11:1
Now faith is the substanceof things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
Faith filled Obedience can only exist in our lives if we are walking toward the Promises of God. Every great person of True Faith fully trusted God and was moved in Faith because of that trust. And in Trusting we must believe He has given to us the Promises which He has stated, which when unwaveringly trusted gives to us everything that is needed in this life and an entry into His Eternal Kingdom.
While the world whose time is nearing the end looks toward mans accomplishments, inventions and medicines for its solutions; God has called the worlds wisdom foolishness. He has delivered to His Saints all we need through His Promises to become partakers of His Divine Nature thus having escaped the Corruption that's in the world through lusts
2Pe 1:4 -
Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
It is written in Proverbs that "There is a way which seems right to man the end of which is death.". It's through this self emulating deception many are blinded to the Truth. Therefore in their error they call evil good and good evil trying to attribute to God the worlds and satans false solutions.
To say we trust God and rely on our medicine cabinets full of sorcery products, pills or potions or patches for our healing we are deceiving ourselves. To say we trust God and trust in psychologies, philosophies and worldly wisdom we are in self deception and worse still is saying its God that's working through those things. Its no wonder God says:
1Co 1:20
Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?
1Co 1:27
But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;
Now Faith is given to take care of any immediate situation in our lives IF we know and trust the Truth that makes us free. And this faith only works in power IF His Fruit of Love is present in our lives.
Ga 5:6
For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.
Gods desire is for you to have the kind of faith to move the mountains in your life. And that comes through study and rightly dividing the Truth of Gods Word.
2Ti 2:15
Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
So then our:
(Romans 10:17) "Faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the Word of God"

Faith filled Obedience can only exist in our lives if we are walking toward the Promises of God. Every great person of True Faith fully trusted God and was moved in Faith because of that trust. And in Trusting we must believe He has given to us the Promises which He has stated, which when unwaveringly trusted gives to us everything that is needed in this life and an entry into His Eternal Kingdom.
While the world whose time is nearing the end looks toward mans accomplishments, inventions and medicines for its solutions; God has called the worlds wisdom foolishness. He has delivered to His Saints all we need through His Promises to become partakers of His Divine Nature thus having escaped the Corruption that's in the world through lusts
2Pe 1:4 -
Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
It is written in Proverbs that "There is a way which seems right to man the end of which is death.". It's through this self emulating deception many are blinded to the Truth. Therefore in their error they call evil good and good evil trying to attribute to God the worlds and satans false solutions.
To say we trust God and rely on our medicine cabinets full of sorcery products, pills or potions or patches for our healing we are deceiving ourselves. To say we trust God and trust in psychologies, philosophies and worldly wisdom we are in self deception and worse still is saying its God that's working through those things. Its no wonder God says:
1Co 1:20
Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?
1Co 1:27
But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;
Now Faith is given to take care of any immediate situation in our lives IF we know and trust the Truth that makes us free. And this faith only works in power IF His Fruit of Love is present in our lives.
Ga 5:6
For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.
Gods desire is for you to have the kind of faith to move the mountains in your life. And that comes through study and rightly dividing the Truth of Gods Word.
2Ti 2:15
Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
So then our:
(Romans 10:17) "Faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the Word of God"

Believing in the death, burial and resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is the beginning of a Measure of Faith that will grow as we hear the Word of Truth. Yet many believe the Gospel but immediately turn from Truth choosing instead the things Satan offers as truth but are lies.
2Th 2:9-11 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
Many choose to have pleasure in unrighteousness and not in the Love of the Truth. Many hold onto their knowledge of good, their self righteousness and take pride that they in society’s eyes are good people. But True Righteousness is only through Faith in Jesus and the True Jesus is onlyfound in the Divine Nature that is given through the Promises of God (see 2 Peter 1:4). So if you are trusting in mans accomplishments: Pharmaceuticals (witchcraft, sorcery), 12 Step Programs, Philosophies, Psychologies, Educational Goals, Careers, Self Help Groups etc.
Then the Spirit of Christ in Paul the Apostle wrote this to you:
Gal 1:6-8 I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
Gal 3:1 O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you?
Gal 4:16-20 Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth? They zealously affect you, but not well; yea, they would exclude you, that ye might affect them. But it is good to be zealously affected always in a good thing, and not only when I am present with you. Joh 6:28-29 Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent. (Now Please Read John 6:1-71)
Joh 16:29-33 His disciples said unto him, Lo, now speakest thou plainly, and speakest no proverb. Now are we sure that thou knowest all things, and needest not that any man should ask thee: by this we believe that thou camest forth from God. Jesus answered them, Do ye now believe? Behold, the hour cometh, yea, is now come, that ye shall be scattered, every man to his own, and shall leave me alone: and yet I am not alone, because the Father is with me. These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
To some I sound like a broken record in my teachings. To others I sound like I’m in self justification for my (sometimes rightly sometimes wrongfully accused and judged) actions. But to others who come to our Total Recovery Meetings good things are occurring, sometimes slowly, sometimes quickly. These good things occur when one is faithful to attending anywhere Truth is ministered. The good thing is that the Light of Truth will begin lighting their eyes, their burdens will be lifted and joy replaces depression as Gods Truth makes them free. And they are being set free not only from things that have held them bound but from the evil judgments of the world. And not only the world but the deadlier evil judgments of false religious leaders that permeates today’s many Modern Churches and Ministries.
The disciples asked Jesus what they must do to do the work of God as they wanted to labor in His work as an occupation:
(Work: Greek; ergon: From ergō (a primary but obsolete word; to work); toil (as an effort or occupation); by implication an act: - deed, doing, labour, work.)
But Jesus told them that their work, was to believe on Him Whom God sent, what He was saying is that their occupation was to TRUST JESUS and therefore Gods Promises through Him!
In John 6 we see Jesus feeding 5000 with just a few fishes and loaves with much left over. Then Jesus went to the mountaintop alone. After He sent His Disciples to the other side of the river but He Himself followed later walking on water and the Disciples feared at the sight. After He made them aware it was Him that was walking on the water they received Him into the boat joyfully and immediately they were on the other side.
The people Jesus fed found Him on the other side:
Joh 6:25-27 And when they had found him on the other side of the sea, they said unto him, Rabbi, when camest thou hither? Jesus answered them and said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Ye seek me, not because ye saw the miracles, but because ye did eat of the loaves, and were filled. Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed.
Yet a few incredible things would occur that day, even though thousands saw the Power of God the miracles being done through Jesus and eat of the miraculously wrought food they doubted, feared, felt Jesus sayings were too hard and they turned away from Him.
Joh 6:60-70 Many therefore of his disciples, when they had heard this, said, This is an hard saying; who can hear it? When Jesus knew in himself that his disciples murmured at it, he said unto them, Doth this offend you? What and if ye shall see the Son of man ascend up where he was before? It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. But there are some of you that believe not. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed not, and who should betray him. And he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father. From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him. Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away? Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life. And we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ, the Son of the living God. Jesus answered them, Have not I chosen you twelve, and one of you is a devil?
The Work is to Believe on Him, our Living Hope of Christ in You and Gods Promises indwelling you and working through you powerfully. The Betrayers doubt, they do not truly believe and they turn back or never really turned from the Worlds and its god Satan’s false solutions.
But in Christ:
2Co 1:20 For all the Promises of God in Him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.
2Pe 1:4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
There are many called but few chosen and the chosen few are those who make their calling and election sure through faithfully acknowledging the Truth of Gods Word and trusting the Liberty of Gods Promises that are ours in Christ, while renouncing the worlds hidden darkness: (Read II Peter 1:1-11)
Don’t be like those who go away from Truth and still call it God be like those who believe to the saving of their souls and then you will be part of The Chosen Few-The True Elect of God.

VIRTUE (Goodness, Moral Excellence)

“…and add to your faith, virtue.” 2nd Peter 2:5
What a lesson it has taken me to understand the importance of this one little word. A word that has character only God can place within ones life. Just as faith can only can only be given by God through the hearing of his word. Virtue can only be applied by doing the word. Then “knowledge” will become “understanding” , the understanding that will produce fruit in your life. Fruit that will endure forever and wither not.
Much like my namesake Jacob, I too have wrestled with God. I am ; always blessed but, because of my stubbornness I have had my “hip” thrown out of joint. Virtue dispels the thought of partnership with God, we need a oneness, a bond that Jesus prayed for us to have in John 17.
John 17:20;21
“neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word, that they all may be one; as the father is in me I am in him, that they may also be one in us; that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.”
The virtue of Gods’ goodness being infused in our reborn spirit is the beginning of “power” dunamis, (Greek) the explosive power of God working in and through us. To jump from the initial measure of faith to gaining more knowledge in intellect until application which is virtue, begins planting it in understanding within us, within that good (virtuous ) ground whereby fruit explodes into life.
Nothing in me before Christ was good. Now it is his presence within working in and through us to do his good pleasure makes virtue a reality we can move forward in. Jesus taught us this in the parable of the sower.
“The seed which fell on good ground.(Virtuous ground) which is Gods’ word received in understanding thus yields fruit which is life within us." (Matthew 13:23)
I have wrestled with God over everything from ministry to relationships desiring his blessings… that blessing never comes without a cost. I have received my blessings and have joyfully paid the cost.
Virtue begins by simply obeying the word and being patient. From prayer to acts of brotherly kindness, to letting Gods’ word work through us, to laying down our lives for others. All adds virtue to faith. Virtue is always about others, not self, not what we want but what God wants us to do for them. Ooh to minister like Christ did. To love as Christ loved, to effect miracles changes even as to the raising of the dead. He still wants us too as we back up and apply virtue to faith allowing his power to work in and through us as we yeild our members to obey his word.Remember this, God is the potter, we are the clay He is not looking for the cookie cutter Christians. He is looking for his elect, his called. Will you be one of the called, will you yeild to his Holy Spirit calling you today?

Psalm 36:9

No one can see light until God calls them into the light. This light gets brighter the more we act on the truth of Gods’ word. Sounds simple enough, but is it?
We as the body of Christ are called into fellowship of His light.
1st John 1:7 says, “ but if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with another and the Blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.”
What a wonderful benefit of fellowship in the light, the blood of Jesus Christ cleansing us from all sin. This cleansing requires us to be in fellowship in the True Light. Yet there are many who profess they are in this fellowship are not, remember, many are called but few are chosen. And it is in the power he gave us at the time we received Jesus to make our call and election sure in His Light.
Jesus warned us in his word, that
“Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name cast out devils, and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, depart from me workers of iniquity, I never knew you.” Matthew 7:22-23
Iniquity is a very subtle tool of Satan, It imitates light, it appears as the law of liberty and quickly tries to show itself as if from God. However, it is not it is darkness. Lawlessness is from the very pit of hell. The darkness of this sin is to convince those bound by its many “ Worldly False Solutions” that it’s right and it honors God and that it’s works are of God.
Jesus warns us further; “ The light of the body is the eyes; if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light. But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore that light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness.”Mt.6:22-23
Academic attempts at intellectual ascension to the light usually results in darkness; iniquities abounding. It is only when Jesus begins revealing the Father to you that the anointing grows within, its glorious light increases and flows out of you like rivers of Living Water. A single eye desires one thing, to know the truth of Gods’ Word. An evil eye however, will look to educational endeavors, pharmaceuticals, psychologies, philosophies, step programs, self help programs; the fuller list of Satan’s world and its false solutions abound.
If you desire truth that produces light within ask God, as you study his word, God will also bring out of his remnant ministries of truth to teach you. Don’t fall for the subtle yet enormous movement of darkness in the lukewarm church. Get excited as Jesus has it all and is willing to give it to you if you will only ask and believe.

A single eye desires one thing, to know the truth of Gods’ Word. An evil eye however, will look to educational endeavors, pharmaceuticals, psychologies, philosophies, step programs, self help programs; the fuller list of Satan’s world and its false solutions abound.
If you desire truth that produces light within ask God, as you study his word, God will also bring out of his remnant ministries of truth to teach you. Don’t fall for the subtle yet enormous movement of darkness in the lukewarm church. Get excited as Jesus has it all and is willing to give it to you if you will only ask and believe.

POWER

John 1:12
But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
Power begins in the life of a newly born babe in Christ as the power of choice. Prior to this new birth all were confined and bound and enslaved to sin. Gloriously God called you and I to Jesus and the first beginnings of Power appeared in our lives. The Greek for Power in the verse above is Exousia and it means the ability to choose or a Right given. In fact some Bible versions use the word Right in this verse. God at that point and time of rebirth gave us the Right (by choice) to become the sons of God.
This RIGHT is rarely used by the babe IF the babe is not kept and cared for by those who have grown in the Love of Christ to govern him and train him/her up in righteousness.
Galatians 4:1-2
Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all; But is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the father.
If the Child is taught the Word and trained to Choose to obey and Trust the Truth then the Child grows in stature and strength in the Spirit. John gives us a vivid example of this growth.
1 John 2:12-14
I write unto you, little children, because your sins are forgiven you for his name's sake. I write unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the beginning. I write unto you, young men, because ye have overcome the wicked one. I write unto you, little children, because ye have known the Father. I have written unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the beginning. I have written unto you, young men, because ye are strong, and the word of God abideth in you, and ye have overcome the wicked one.
When a Child there is no strength, their power is the right to choose and this right is maintained as those given to teach him/her love them in Christ (this also helps cover the sins (growing pains) of the child). And teaches them what to obey. This teaching by those who have overcome the wicked one is also in Power:
1Colossians 1:18
For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.
Dunamis is the Greek for this Power and it means: strength power, ability inherent power, power residing in a thing by virtue of its nature, or which a person or thing exerts and puts forth power for performing miracles moral power and excellence of soul.
As obedience is learned and Chosen by the Child this Power begins forming in their lives. The Apostle Paul wrote to those in Galatia who had made some wrong choices and had stunted their own growth in Christ.
Galatians 4:19
My little children, for whom I labor in birth again until Christ is formed in you,
Christ is the Power (Greek: Dunamis) of God being formed in us:
1Corithians 1:24
but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.
As the Word of Truth is received in Understanding it forms the Spirit of Christ within. This power is also the Anointing (which the word Christ means) of God that in fills true believers. It is the work of the Word to use this anointing this power to break the yokes of bondages in the Baby Christians life:
Isaiah 10:27
And it shall come to pass in that day (of Christ formed in the life of the young believer), that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.
As the young believer grows in obedience this growth learns to battle and overcome the wicked one and the false solutions he offers in the world.
2 Corinthians 10:1-6
For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.
This obedience then delivers us to that appointed time of the Father to receive His Fullness, His Power into our lives:
Acts 5:32
And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost(Gods full dunamis power within), whom God hath given to them that obey him.
