CHRISTIANITY ISN’T A GAME
Brother James, OIC
Heb 11:33-38 Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, Quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens. Women received their dead raised to life again: and others were tortured, not accepting deliverance; that they might obtain a better resurrection: And others had trial of cruel mockings and scourgings, yea, moreover of bonds and imprisonment: They were stoned, they were sawn asunder, were tempted, were slain with the sword: they wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins; being destitute, afflicted, tormented; (Of whom the world was not worthy:) they wandered in deserts, and in mountains, and in dens and caves of the earth.
Today as in during the time of the Great Heroes of Faith there are those whom the world is not worthy. They are homeless, unloved and unwanted by the world and the worldly Christians. They are walked past in the streets, invisible to the self centered eyes of those who could help but simply won’t go the distance to Love as Christ loved.
Falling short of Loving as Christ Loved is sin. Today’s Modern Church will do anything to look like they are helping but it’s only at arms length not wanting those needing help to get to close MYSELF BEING GUILTY OF THIS ALSO! SO CHRISTIANITY BECOMES PROGRAMMED! We have our food banks, support groups, live-in programs, outreaches so those the worldly Church doesn’t want to close can view the recipients of their charitable help like animals in a zoo.
When OIC was first birthed in me in 1992 by Vision of God it was never intended to be a program. It was meant to be family for those who simply had no one to love them.
Mat 25:31-46 When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sI was in prison, and ye came unto me. Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lordheep from the goats: And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: , when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?
Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not. Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee? Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me. And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.
Joh 15:12 This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.
